With Beyonce’s epic video release and super bowl feature, as well as Kendrick Lamar’s performance on the Grammy that put black captivity on front street, black lives matter awareness is at an all time high, and more people are being exposed by the biggest names in entertainment.
Not to long ago Jada Pinkett-Smith was being roasted by some for asking the black community to start thinking about creating our own opportunities as well as ways to rewards ourselves, rather than look for inclusion from the likes of the Academies, and The Grammy’s and the larger Hollywood community. Than came Queen Bey who asked us to get into Formation and minds were blown with the black panther inspired look at Super Bowl 50.
